When exactly do the B&H Photo Black Friday deals start online for 2026 because I am so confused about their schedule? I'm sorry if this is a really basic thing to ask but I've never actually shopped there before and I really don't want to miss the window to buy a camera. My daughter is getting married in mid-December and I've been saving up to get her a really nice professional setup... maybe a Sony or a Nikon... but my budget is strictly 1200 dollars and I'm worried the good stuff will sell out in minutes.
I live in Ohio so I think I'm on the same time as them but I heard someone say they close their website for checkout on certain days for religious reasons? Is that true even during the biggest sale of the year? It sounds so stressful if I'm sitting there with a camera in my cart and the button doesn't work. I'm just trying to figure out if I need to be awake at midnight on Thursday night or if the deals start way earlier like on the Monday of that week.
I've seen some other stores already talking about their sales but B&H is kind of quiet and it makes me anxious that I'm gonna miss the start time. Is there a specific hour they flip the switch? I really have no idea where to start with this and I'm terrified I'll wait too long and end up having to pay full price or getting something low quality from somewhere else. If anyone knows how they usually handle the Black Friday rush please let me know.
I really need to get this right for the wedding gift and I'm just a total newbie at this whole high-end electronics thing. Does the site usually crash or is it pretty smooth? I'm just so worried about that checkout clock thing...
B&H usually starts their holiday head start deals on the Monday of Black Friday week. I've been very satisfied with their reliability tbh. You gotta know that checkout closes every Friday afternoon until Saturday night for religious observance.
