Which CPU is actually the best value play for the 2026 Black Friday deals? Im torn between the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and the newer i7 options. Budget is strictly $400 for my editing rig here in Seattle. Leaning AMD for the efficiency but Intels single core speed is tempting for my workflow...

Grab the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 8-Core 96MB L3 Cache! It totally destroys the Intel Core i7-14700K 20-Core 5.6GHz for efficiency and editing. Honestly the best $400 value pick ever!
