Im super stressed about my build plan honestly. Im still rocking an old 2060 and its basically dying on me but I want to hold out for the big sales in late 2026 to get the best bang for my buck. I'm really worried about overpaying and then seeing a better deal a week later.

Im torn between trying to snag a 5080 or just settling for the 5070 Ti if the price drop is better. I have about $850-900 saved up and I really need something that can handle 4k without melting in my tiny ITX case. Usually the mid-range cards get the biggest cuts but what if the 5080 has a massive clearance? Which one do you think is gonna have the deepest discount when Black Friday 2026 actually rolls around...

Yo! First off, holding on to that RTX 2060 for this long is honestly heroic haha! I totally feel your pain on the upgrade anxiety tho... it is a total nightmare trying to time the market perfectly. In my experience with like, every single launch since the 10-series, the sweet spot for Black Friday is almost always that upper-mid tier. I bet money that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7 is gonna be the absolute star of the 2026 sales! The 5080 usually stays pretty pricey because of the prestige factor and lower supply, but the 70 Ti models always get those juicy $100 or $150 cuts to clear stock when retailers get aggressive. Since you have a tiny ITX build, you really gotta look at something like the ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 5070 Ti OC Edition 16GB because it usually stays way cooler without being a massive three-slot brick. If you try to cram a 5080 into a small case it might actually melt your side panel lol! Stick with the 5070 Ti plan and youll probably snag it for way under your $900 budget by then, leaving you extra cash for more fans or a faster NVMe. Youre gonna love the jump from a 2060... it is literally going to be like seeing color for the first time!! Cant wait to see how it turns out!
