Should I wait for 2026 Black Friday to buy a mid-range GPU?

So my current setup is starting to really show its age and i am struggling to get even 60fps on medium settings in some newer titles. I am rocking an old 2060 super and it is basically screaming for mercy at this point. I mostly play stuff like Cyberpunk and I really want to be ready for whenever the next big open world games drop. I have been looking at some roadmaps online and i saw some people saying that the real value for mid range cards wont happen until late 2026 because the 50 series might be overpriced at launch and the 60 series rumors are all over the place.

I read on some tech forums that the current mid range market is kind of a mess right now and that prices usually bottom out during the second holiday season of a cards life cycle. I have got about 450 dollars put aside right now but i could save more if i wait. But like is 2026 too far away to actually wait? I am worried if i buy something now i will regret it when the 2026 sales hit but my pc is so slow right now it is driving me crazy. Do you guys think the jump in performance and the potential savings in late 2026 is worth two more years of lag or should i just bite the bullet sooner?
